Today was such a
great day with one of our sewing families! We worked together until sunset, when
the father rushed in to announce that he had closed the deal. He has bought a
house! We were all so overjoyed, because they have been working hard towards
owning their own home. Saving their wages and looking daily for suitable houses. I’m surprised they didn’t start dancing when he announced the good news. But they promptly made hot aloo paranthas
(potato stuffed flat bread) for us all to relish. I ate two piping hot! It was an aloo parantha day, which is always a good day...
The festivities have just begun for this family. It was a really great day, and I’m so happy that we and Dekko are a part of this
family’s journey.
